Default Anyone ever try a spool?

I'm just curious, has anyone ever tried running a spool or locked diff in your truck? How did it effect the handling?

If you know how a diff. works, then you can predict what will happen when you lock the diffs. i have locked them, and it helps with off road/climbing terrains. google differentials to see how they work. i have not used a spool though. happy racing/climbing!

Obviousli I know how a diff works and I have used spools in sedan and my full size drag car. I know exactly how they work in those cars. But I do not know how they would work in an off road truck on a surface with less traction. I would think it would push in the corners but I am asking for opinions from people who have tried it.

I tried it and it blew goats for running on flat surfaces (ie a track). For climbing, pulling or bogging it's great.
