This is kind of funny but some days I take 1 or two of my trucks to work and drive them on my lunch hour, I work at a Ferrari dealership where the only people that are not to stuck up are the technicians. After a few weeks I had all of the technicians down at the hobby shop buying cars and trucks. Now at lunch time we have races sometimes. I am turning 40 herein a few days and im sorry but I don't care what anyone thinks especially some arrogant rich fool looking at me funny for having toys, at least I am happy. Does anyone else use their lunch break for a little RC fun...?

I've always been of the attitude that if it's fun it's fun. Never really concerned myself with what others think. I guess it's not a whole lot different than any other recreational activity like playing golf or fishing..if it's relaxing and takes one's mind off of daily B.S. then it's a good thing IMO..
I've also been known to fire up the trusty 'ole XXL on lunch breaks. We have a park not too far from my work where I've roosted some dirt a time or two over the years.

We skip lunch to take a short break and bolt early so no break/lunch RC time but at the end of the day on occasion I'll bring out the stampede to go rummaging through the terrain.
I'm an electrician so when we are on new jobs the job site is a playground for a monster truck! I get the attention of a few guys but I haven't gotten them to rally up at the store yet, only to get a few into the idea of going BACK to the hobby.

While I've never brought an RC car to work, I did bring an original Savage SS to high school on one of my last days senior year. Warmed it up in a parking lot, did a couple speed runs, and nearly all the windows were open with kids hanging their heads out to see what was going on. One of my English teacher's colleagues tried giving me a stern talking to but it was difficult taking her seriously given I had all but walked at graduation.

I can't run on lunch since I'm out on the road and don't have much extra room on the truck anymore. I did once bring a nitro Revo to a job site on a beach, managed to piss off the snobs a bit. I used to basically keep a truck at the shop though. When it was slow I'd be modifying or fabricating stuff and/or running after work. After work the gravel parking lot across the street was empty and I could sneak behind their building and play in the dirt too. The bonus was after a bash session traffic had died down and the ride home was even nicer.
