ok have a savage 25 been have'n problems getting it started....when i remove the airfliter no problems starting any suggestion? should i be looking into another type of airfilter other than the stock one?

sounds like a clogged air filter, wash it with soap and water then put a light oil on it and put it back in ur engine. you should never start the truck without a filter.
