i ordered a Axial 55T Electric Crawler Motor and was wondering if it will fit in my 1/16 slash? thanks!

That's a 550-can motor. It will, but you need the Big Block motor mounting kit for it.

would it be better if i just buy the normal brushed motor it came with? im making my slash lifted from 1/16 summit parts to crawl and mud

I also have a 1 /16 slash and this is actually based on the innovative E-Revo, right down to its integrated battery compartments, and I use "Integy Motor Mount Silver 1/16 Slash/Revo VXL" motor in it and I found this motor ever best.

Yea, ill agree with this statement. 55t will be VERY slooow. I would have maybe went with the 12t Titan or maybe 27t. Personally the 27t would have been your best mix between toque, power n speed.
