Ignore the ppl who are ignorant on the Revo. 99% of them have never owned one, and jus like to talk about something they don't know. Also, the Revo is a MT, not a truggy. No center diff guys... MT class was huge when it was created. Truggies are the new thing, hence why they get compared to it. The thing was extremely durable contrary to the cries you hear from ppl (like in this post) who have no idea about them. I had 0 issues with the drivetrain on both 4s/6s. Upgrades were all cosmetic for me, not because things were breaking.
As for videos, here are mine. I wish I never sold it, the guy who bought it from here was an idiot and obviously had no idea how to take care of a car :/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2HxVsPeOz8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2erNRFAAjrU http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...R/P1011200.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...R/IMAG0080.jpg |
Some more truth for ya, Truggy's are about 6 years old now, def not a "new thing".. And, what's this?
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...fferential-Kit Looks like a C/D^^ for a erevo:lol: Facts on dollars, longevity and durability for the Truggy over a erevo still remain, like your liberal president said, "It's Math";) |

You can't really 'customize' a buggy or truggy like you can a monster truck whether it be a LST, Revo, Maxx, etc. Ppl get these for customization options, not racing... Well ppl who understand them that is :) I currently own a little Savage Flux XS that I got specifically so I can customize it and make it pretty, but I also drive a B44.2 for racing. If you know the reasons you own something, then who cares what you own? I'd still take a Revo over a Truggy if I was looking to buy. For me, it's the tinkering factor. |

Let's not be stupid. |
Talking about about 1000.00 - 1200.00 in a revo. I guess I am lucky and have good friends because I only have about 900.00 in BOTH of mine. My 8ight-t I understand is only a 1.0 but I have seen them win against 2.0s but I only have 150.00 in the complete roller. Mamba system and comversion kit ony gonna have 500 - 550 in it.

Calm down.... I was just pointing out that truggies have been around a lot longer than 6 years since people are bringing up all these facts. They're. Defiantly not the "new thing".
|
back to the topic at hand this was meant to be a conversation about the e revo i built mine so i wouldn't have to worry bout breaking stuff and love the truck its a blast to drive and some people like the erevo and some don't its kinda like why we have vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream
also has anyone seen if the new mamba monster 2 esc will fit under the stock mamba monster esc mount because it looks shorter |
I personally would take a revo over a truggy anyway. The lhs biggest seller is the revo. People bash Traxxas because its associated with.being marketed towards the younger crowd as an entry level rtr rc. I have one of the first if not the first Traxxas monster trucks and back then it was marketed as a rtr basher for people new to rc.
The revo is more versital than a truggy. You can bash it, race it, mod it, bash it some more. My next project is an e revo. A truggy... well it was built for racing... |
got nitro.. your forgetting tires rims.. and about 4 more $100 servo for ur truggy ..U math is like a kindergartners math BAD and wrong.. try about $1400 in a truggy and $790 for a RTR e ervo brushless.. worked for a hobby shop up until the New year .. sold many Losi 8 parts and very few Revo parts due to a losi 8 breaks..Gotta love The Erevo no matter how many hatters there are ..
