Look into Aluminum diff cases, at least for the rear at first. It'll save you a few exploded diffs. If you keep the truck on 4S & 5S, you can just recase the front & rear and run aluminum cups to completely kill the exploding diff issue.

For the center, just get the Steel TRX CVD's. They hold up great.

As far as springs go, look into the RCRaven Dual-Rate spring sets. At $13 for 4 Pairs (Entire Truck!) they are probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to the TRX Big-Bore or standard Ultra shock.

Don't bother with the Traxxas 17mm Hex Hubs. They wobble around a lot once they wear a little.

I got those. You put in the crosspin, drop the hex over the axle, then insert the center pin and use a hex key to lock it down onto the axle threads. This compresses the hex against the crosspin, and keeps the entire assembly tight and wobble-free.

The problem is that the 0-Offset ones (those) go out of stock all the time due to high demand, so they can be a huge pain to get ahold of. It took me almost two months of digging around to find a set, and I still need another set for my Summit. Augh.

Savox 0251MG isn't going to be enough to turn those tires the way you'll want. The Maxx can be a pig on it's servo, especially if you've only got one.

The Savox 1256TG is a better choice, but considering the price, you can always double-up and use another 0251MG for nearly the same effect, at basically the same price.

Other then that? Looks good! It's a fun, tough truck once you handle it's weird spots.

It equalls the same amount as the stock servos do. And my buddy said it works welll. If it doesn't, ill probably just buy a second one. Thanks i think its going to turn out nice

Also, i found some $5 17mm hexs but they were out of stock. I know the red ones will wear, but i think the red ones look great with my silver, red, black theme

What kind of hinge pins are those? My TRX Stock pins and FLM pins never had a locknut on them.

They are integy ones. they were the same price as stock so i though what the heck and got them. But i switched it so the nut was on the outside and it still rubbed so im stuc

Just get the TRX stock pin bag and use just the lower pins. Should solve that problem.
