Horrible, horrible truck.....I dont know why anyone would even think to run one of them.

There's no support for them, not even a dedicated thread.....just terrible.

Worst truck ever made. They should have stopped with the .21 model. It especially sucks with the XL conversion.

A savage, be it nitro or electric is one of the best trucks there is. All these responses were meant as a joke and were sarcastic. Go buy a savage and experience it for yourself.

Yeh, I love my flux to death. Ive owned many nitro and electric MT's, and the flux is my favorite. I think the only reason I'd get rid of it, was if someone offered me a 5b/5t for it.

Haha they are tough ass trucks and the only thing I did with my savage is new skid plates and rpm everything I could and you could convert her to XL length

The greatest posts ever. The Savage is a Legend Kyosho Joe. In RC you will have so many opinions but one thing people can agree on is that the Savage is not a lemon. Practically limitless options for it and You can beat that thing until it loves you. The Savage is so reliable that I admittingly abuse and neglect it, and like a good dog it always comes back and licks my hand. I almost feel guilty how I treat it sometimes. Give whoever gave it to you a hug, they either really researched the purchase or got extremely lucky.

unless you're not a rough basher, I would not recommend the hpi tvps to stay on the truck. Mine bend by the motor, I'm on my 2nd set in 2 months of owning the truck. I purchased TCS 5mm XL tvp's to hopefully get rid of my problem.
