I think nitro's are easier to drive around a track. hearing it helps me judge it's power output. going by sight only is like being def at a concert

a Cl7B is definitely badass....and a great representation of the higher end nitro's........ I am happy to see you have experienced a higher end engine..many guys give up on nitro without ever seeing anything beyond a RTR level engine....... which is a real shame, as there is a massive gap in the capabilities between a RTR engine and a high end modified nitro.......Not saying the modified is for everyone, but rather that many people just never get a chance to see the full capacity of these nitro engines can offer....The BL is still faster and nastier of course, but nitro can put up a much better fight then most people would realize.....

I would love to be a distributer for Clockwork engines, but I don't see many nitro guys will to spill THAT much for something they can get cheaper with more power (electric).

when someone see's one of the modified Nitro's run like the Bonito their Brushless gear all of a sudden doesn't look so impressive.... I have back converted dozens of guys from BL now....... Every one of them has never in their life seen a nitro run the way I have these running....they scream so loud they are almost musical....On the track we are usually passing the BL with the nitro's .........just a whole different world when you step up into the higher end engines...... yes they cost more, but the performance span compared to the RTR gear is simply massive........ And sales are really good, I sell hundreds of engines , my issue is keeping up to the demand more then anything else LOL...Not sure if I could handle any more dealers ! but PM me your details if your ever interested......

are full out racing engines like you sell less lets say durable for lack of a better word.
as in they would put out double the hp but only last 1/2 the time as a lower hp engine.

I know racing engines in motorcycles pretty much only last a few races but put out 30-50 more hp than they do stock and they never increase the displacement.

I'm changing the subject just for a sec.....please forgive me if you have already touched on this subject but i need a quick answer so I can go ahead and make an order before parts run out from my favorite on line store. I have an Thunder Tiger Emta on the way and I noticed on an on-line r/c review that there are some problems with what he called " The drive pin in the axle" on the rear wheel sheared off in two places and he lost his wheel. Supposedly this happens a lot with others too for no particular reason beyond average bashing. Does anyone happen to know the part# of this and what would be the official name for it??

wheeler8 06-27-2013 07:15 AM

anyone know the answer???? There has to be someone......

'K.. Thanks. And what about my question earlier - about getting two 7,4V 3700 25C batteries instead of one 14.8V?..

It's very close now between the MT4 G3 and the E-MTA(and the SC8.2e is still in the hunt..) The E-MTA looks like more truck.. Under the lexan the MT4 looks pretty sparse.. Those E-MTA shocks though could make me a bit nervous...

if you're skeptical get the mt4. You deffinitly won't be dissapointed.
