Default Converting T-Maxx to Brushless

Hey all..

i have been trying to fix a mates T-Maxx, but the engine will just not go.. tried everything.

Anyway... whats involved in converting the T-Maxx to brushless?

Was thinking the cheaper Hobbywing 120A Sensorless combo with a 3400kV motor.. Combo ME176

I am reading up and with that size motor, we should restrict the lipo's to 3 cell

What about mounting? is there commercially available mounting kits?
or
Building the mountings, has anyone done this yet? i am sure someone has.

Tell your mate to sell it and buy a e-maxx, more than likely it would be cheaper than trying to convert one you will probly have to get a e-maxx frame and braces to do the conversion

Nah, don't listen to him.

I did mine, it was easy. I made a bracket and ran it.

They also sell a bracket on Ebay for the conversion.

one of the earlier ones, it has the 3.3 and 27Mhz radio.. 2 speed with reverse

i think i will change the gearbox to steel and a single speed first of all.. the brackets i have found and seem pretty basic
