Default Bomb proof e revo ?????

Ok so I've had my e revo bl for about 3 weeks now and yesterday the bloody thing just let me down
I have spent a lot of money getting this thing ready since I picked it up
Ive purchased max amps lipos 2 s and 3 s 6000 mah and 9000mah

Hyperion charger And 12 volt power supply
Finally got everything charged up and ready and I ran over a bump about 1 1/2" high and tore out my back end including cracking my chassis
Man I'm pissed Off I thought this truck would be a lot more durable than this now I'm thinking maybe I should have gone with the savage flux ?

Anyway seeing as how I have to completely strip down a brand new truck and replace the chassis I figure now is a good time to build this thing right
I want it bomb proof
What do I have to do guys ?????
At this point I don't care about money I'm already in the hole
I just don't want this thing to break so easily

Well my thoughts replace everything you can with RPM/Nylon and stay away from any functional metal parts...About the best you can do.

Is this your first truck?

Just wondering because usually only new/inexperienced hobbyists make the MaxAmps mistake. Are you running a 2s 6000 mAh and a 3s 9000 mAh at the same time? If so, you should not run that combination.

There is no way the truck suffered that much damage from a 1 1/2" bump. The suspension alone would absorb that travel.

So how did you really tear out the rear end of your truck? Hit a culvert at full speed? Even a Savage Flux will suffer catastrophic damage in the hands of an inexperienced driver.

It's absolutely fine that you are frustrated by the mishap, but we can help you a lot more if you'll post accurate info rather than exaggerated rants.

Hope you get the truck fixed, let us know if there is anything we can do to guide you.

The ERBE and the Flux are very durable trucks when you know what you are doing.

No this not my first truck however this is my first electric mt
The lipos I'm running are 2 2s 9000 mah
For a 4s setup And I also have 2 3s 6000 mah for a 6s setup
Are max amps batts not good I was under the impression they were
When I hit the bump I was probably at half throttle with the 4s setup can't really remember if the truck was wheeling it happened to fast
Don't get me wrong I love the truck just a little disappointed with durability
Than again I'm not really used to that kind of speed being a nitro head for 4-5 years now
Was probably my fault I don't deny that but regardless I could use some advice on how to strengthen this truck up

Yeah, maxamps are waaaaaay overrated. They stretch the boundaries of just about everything in their products. Unfortunately, the worst place they stretch is your wallet. You can get a battery with specs equal to, and usually better, for about 1/3 what you paid for your maxamps. That's why it tends to be new/uninformed users that buy them. Once you learn more about what is out there, you don't make the mistake again...

As far as getting you back up and running, if you cracked the rear bulkheads, order stock bulkheads to replace them. If you broke the chassis, ditto on the chassis. Replace the arms with RPM if they are broken. Replace the stock Revo shafts with stock traxxas Summit shafts. If those aren't broken, run them til they break, they are fine. Replace them after that with the Summit shafts.

Install a rear chassis brace to stiffen the rear chassis for jumping. There are a lot of threads about that mod on here as well as in the E-Revo Brushless forum at Traxxas.com.

Did we miss any parts, or did that cover your breakages?

That's pretty much all of it
U nailed it bang on can u think of anything else
While I have it all apart that would help long term
Maybe something in the front end
I'm reading a lot of guys install the true trac on the rears
Thanks for ur help buddy
Now it's time to get to work I guess

If you're bashing it, maybe consider the extended wheelbase rear arms from Traxxas (the stock rear arms on the Summit). Extends the wheelbase by 10mm.

Get a larger set of wheels, maybe stock wheels from a Thunder Tiger MT4 G3. Light but very bashable. I really like the Trencher X's on 1/2" offset Desperado wheels. Some people don't like to run wheels too heavy, the Trenchers are about as heavy as I would suggest.

Shimming the diffs is another idea if you want to really tear it down. otherwise, save that project for when one blows up.
