Default Castle MMM issues

Hey guys, I recently acquired a caslte MMM esc in a truck I bought. ESC works great, except that any time I hit the brake it goes completely full 100% lock up the wheels brakes. I cant make it linear at all.

I dont have a castle link yet, but it will be here next week. I have manually callibrated the throttle and brake settings, and manually setup the ESC for 50% brake and no drag brake. I cant figure out whats up.

Any ideas?

I could have sworn I saw this thread already....

Reverse your throttle on your radio and re-calibrate. I had a similiar problem with mine right out of the box with my futaba.

Wait till you get the Castle Link.
Set it at 50ish% to start and then dial it down with the radio. I have even been as low as 35%.

Yes, I already posted a similar thread in the electric section, but I had other talk in there and not everyone wants to read through it. So this one was short, sweet, and to the point.

Regardless, I got it fixed. I didnt read good when i programmed it before apparently, but the "reverse disable" function is the one you need to use for normal operation. I was using the "forward/brake/reverse" function which for some reason is what was causing the brakes to lock fully.

Either way, it is fixed and works great now. Kinda wish i hadnt bought the castle link since it seems setup fine to suit me, but I guess the castle link will be fun to play with.

Castle link rocks, you'll be glad you got it. Stock is fine but when you start playing with throttle and brake curves you can really fine tune it to your driving style and enjoy driving even more.
