Im almost positive that they dont make a 500k weight. I think 150k is the highest. You might be thinking of 50k weight.

I have read a lot about the center diff on the revos. I think a lot of the people get the numbers correct. Some say it's 500k some say its 5k I don't know. But I went with 50k. I don't get any ballooning on the front with it.

50k is thick stuff, I would try 10k if your racing so the fronts might actually pull. If you get to think you might as well lock the diff

That just sounds really low.

JB Weld, silly putty, maybe modeling clay, a chunk of the sock you are wearing, anything like that.

500k is what you want in the center diff not 50k. I run 50k in the front and the 500k (Kyosho or Traxxas)in the center and 10k in the rear. Any less than 300K in the center will cause too much front transfer. The stock Platinum comes with 100k so going to 120k won't help much. 300k would work well for a loose loamy track but on high bite 500K is the way to go.

Same set up I've used since the Platinum came out.. works great..500k is available and yes it's thick.. most think you can do the same weights as they would do on thier truggy, I for one tried that and it did not work..

Here is what I don't get. Everyone is saying 500. But I have read post saying that is to much. I'm not talking about the traction and stuff. I have seen other forums about the platinum's front tires ballooning up real bad not how much traction they get.
