spi wheels are machined from 6061 aluminum as well most of the wheels do weigh the same i think the pro stocks are a little heavyer and the bashers , i will have to find out for sure , i have a few sets of other aluminum wheels too but the spi wheels are full offset around 2" and that makes them very stable on your truck the hex he uses is like a snap on socket sorta like the flank drive ones where the hex engage along the sides not the corners , all aluminum wheels are stronger for sure , my point was if you can get a set of wheels that perform well and you have a chance to win your money back and then some why not ? thanks for the response i think you should try a set to see the difference or come to the world finals and you can try a set on your truck

i just play with my car for recreation. i take care of my vehicle i dont "bash" . that being said i just like to have noce stuff and know about it. so it sucks when you cant get first hand information from the company. also...why not make the pics on the site a little larger. they are so tiny. i think i seen a 2004 date on the pics....i guess itsno big deal but when a sites not taken care of well its usually a decent sign of the kind of service to expect.
