Default Custom E-Maxx

Newer Updated Pics at Bottom

Well found this truck on ebay, it was all plastic and not nearly complete....I spoke with the guy and he agreed to finish what
he started and custom build it the way I wanted it...So I paid him the money for the parts and the labor and he's been working on it a couple days since the parts come in.

Roll cage is half complete. Is currently making a custom battery mount. Also going to completely enclose the bottom differential and then also do a custom body for me. Waiting on the RC4WD beadlock jumbo rims and tires for it.

List of Parts...It isn't really an EMAXX pretty much built from the ground up, sooo maybe a supermaxx minus the chassis?

UE Spider 6 F/R Differential with Alum Cases
UE Steel CVDS F/R
UE Steel Idler Gear
UE Titanium Front Drive Shaft, Bomb-Proof Titanium Rear Drive Shaft
UE Steel Drive Cups
2-Speed Transmission
Proline PowerStroke Shocks(Not made anymore)
RC4WD Alum BeadLock Rims with Imax Swamp Dog Tires
Integy Evo 3 Suspension Kit(Towers, A-Arms)
Integy Skid Plates F/R
Bomb-Proof aluminum extended chassis braces
Integy Alum Steering Blocks F/R
Robinson 65t/25t Spur/Pinion Gear
Punisher Titanium Hinge Pins
Mamba Max Pro ESC / Castle 2200KV Motor
Turnigy 45c-90C 6s 5000MAH Battery
Proline F-150 Custom Body

Anyways heres the progress so far.

Why pay someone else to build it for you?

How is that relevant? I am in AFGHAN do not have any machining tools...This isn't a throw on some screws and put it together kit...Chassis was built and cut, roll case is custom, battery and esc mount will be custom as well as the body.

I am bad at building actual custom work...Some people can draw some people can't. I am not good at custom work therefore I do not attempt it. When I saw this partially complete on ebay I knew this guy had a nack for custom work so paid him to finish the truck RTR for me

I tried to fit machining tools in a blanket once too, it doesn't work.

Nice looking truck, post up progress pics as you get them.

Thanks guys, updated the list of parts that will be on the truck...I was originally going to buy a Emaxx Roller and upgrade to all aluminum. However this guy has a lot of UE parts already on his car, I just needed to get the metal installed.

Should be done in the next couple days, waiting on Rims/Tires from RC4WD

Not even sure what to call this truck anymore because size wise it isn't the same as an emaxx now, more of a 1/8th scale.

I like it a-lot so far ! and don't think about those who don't like that you did not build it yourself .. i had a few r/c's i have had people finish things on it for me do to i did not have time to, or just plain didn't feel like it .. as a matter of fact have custom super stretched r/c semi i am going to ship off soon to have completed because i just keep putting it off and on the back burner and want it as close to prefect as can be when finished .... each to his own as always with this hobby ....

UPDATED PICS....Battery is still in mail so haven't made a custom battery mount yet, but truck is almost done. Changed out tie rod ends to metal since plastic is to weak for the weight of the new tires/rims.

That is one sweet looking Maxx. But its a shame to see all that hard work and nice parts partnered up with the crappy aluminum integy parts. Still a sweet truck but I would be afraid to bash it too hard.
