my maxx i just bought will only move under light throttle when i rip it it really doesn't go what should i look at first the slipper on the tranny? its a 3.3

does it sputter or cut out when you give it throttle? or does it sound fine but just dont go?

well im working on a winter tune but it tachs up fast with no bog it just doesn't go just rips to redline

yea could be slipper too loose.

ok thx i will tighten it up hope thats what it is also been reading up on these trucks anyone have the foc conversion and where can i get one if they are worth it

i think from the factory the slipper should be a quarter turn loose from fully tight.

I noticed on amain that the T-Maxx is only available with Forward only.

Did they discontinue the one with reverse?

i think they did. i got a newer maxx 3.3 and it has only reverse.

Nope, the T-Maxx classic is the one with reverse out of the box. It also has the smaller tires, and slightly (30mm) shorter chassis.

The reverse kit can be purchased for the T-Maxx3.3, but it's no longer included stock. Seems that most were taking it off anyway.....

yea the maxx with the 2.5 comes with reverse.

Guess I may get the Monster GT 8.0, better truck anyway!:p
Does the new E-maxx have reverse? non lipo and non brushless version?

You dont really use the reverse with nitro much at least you learn not to . the transmission is alot stronger without the reverse .Yes the emaxx has reverse but its also electric and slow the non brushless version .

i have a t-maxx .15 and i just bought a 2.5trx engine and the throtlle linkage doesnt work because the carbs are different. Can you guys give me a part # for the linkage adapter
