picco .26 or.28

you have to order the picco max revo mount to mount the .26. I would upgrade to robinson racing diff gears cause i broke mine with the picco. if picco .28 must purchase big block kit. Lots of people like the new era one.

IMO the 26 is just to small for the heavy revo. Id go 28 for bashing! 26 might be ok on a really tight track I've seen it done but the rpm's sign off to quick and if you gear higher I think acceleration suffers and temps rise quick. With the 28 you will have monster power on tap at all times. Another good cheap motor I like in the revo is the axial 28rr, these things really rip for less money!
You can get the traxxas big block motor mount for around $35 if you look around.

The pico uses a specific mount, I don't think traxxas makes it though. If you do go with the 26 check out hopmeup on eBay, that's where my buddy got his but then took it out because it wasn't enough. Just sayen...

Picco .26 not enough power? I dont think so. The .26 is a power house and almost too much for the revo. Most people that race revos use the trx 3.3 the os .18tm. The picco is way more powerful than these motors.

It does not get thin at all. You only have to grind down one side where the material gets thick for one of the chassis bolts, thats it. You only have too clear out about 1-1/2 mm of material for the back plate.
