It will be powered by a MMM (will be here monday) and CC 1717 using flightmax 6s 40c 5000mah lipos. Like I said im just paitiently waiting for a motor mount (should be real soon). I am also in the process of building a brushless Tamiya TRF801xt. Just got the rcproductdesigns conversion kit mounted up today. The Kit is super nice fit very well. Can post some pics if interested.

I wanted to get one of those kits for my 801xt some close up pics of the motor mount and your thoughts on the quality of the over all kit would be great

Quality of the kit is superb, everything fits verywell using existing holes in the chassis and everything looks great. The front bearing carrier and battery tray are machined out of delrin and all mount holes are threaded. The battery tray uses the four motor mount holes and two more in the front and the tray is big so there is plenty o' room. I would highly recomend this kit. I think I paid $93 shipped which I thinks is a little steep but worth it. The only problem is the stock radio box is to big so I have sen pics of people using an associated radio box and you have to cut the servo tray as you can see in the second pic its in the way of the motor mount. Here are a few pics, not the greatest by the way.

Looks great. I would love to do the same thing. Let's see some videos when you get it up and running.

Default UPDATE

Heres a few pics of the xtreme racing cf conversion installed along with the hitec hs-7950th. Still need to solder in the cc bec pro to run the servo at 7.4v just been to lazy. Took it out today for a shake down an everything ran flawlessy except for loosing a wheel nut (luckily i found it and a broken front bumper brace), other than that temps where very good, motor and lipo barely warm after a 10min run. Does wheelies at any speed

Check this out!
Will be sending back to Lunsford for a free replacement!
It is a 5x35mm titanium turnbuckle.
Now I just need to remove it, sounds like fun.....
