xucco speaking from honesty and not just brand loyalty i dont think you can go wrong with any of the big names, traxxas hpi associated or losi. every brand is a piece of s!@# if you dont have common sence. i personally have a losi lst2, traxxas t maxx, traxxas e maxx, traxxas revo, and multiple truggies both losi and xray xt8. i can honestly tell you they all have thier pro's and con's. i have never owned a hpi savage or assciated mgt but know people that do and they love them. i dont think you can go wrong with any of them as long as you know thier limits. i do hear alot of people love thier hpi savy's as far as bashing though. one of my favorite go to truck's to take out with my son is still our tmaxxes. they are not the toughest or fastest by far but those dam trucks are just fun and if we do break them they are pretty easy to work on too.
