Default gearing ???

Can anyone help me out ? Im attempting to build a electric monster truck from a old Tamiya tl01 chassis that I have already customized the suspension on. Wider wheel base, taller shock towers , 85 mm oil dampened shocks, etc... This chassis is a 4WD shaft driven assembly. I have stock gears with a 19 tooth pinion at the moment, the only options I have found so far which are only a few is, pinion gear 17,19,21,22,23,25 tooth. Sport tuned gear set that makes more top speed, and a aluminum 34 tooth spur gear. If heat would be an issue would a electric cooling fan work ? I'm not sure on motor options yet, ideas would be great ! I'm also looking at 2 different size tires, one 5.5" O.D and the other is 6" O.D. This is a project so I am willing to modify parts if needed. I would like to try and get good speed and some torque if this turns out to be possible ! REMEMBER, this is a project I am attempting, PLEASE don't recommend buying a rc kit that comes with directions and is sitting on the shelf at my LHS ! Thanks for any help you can give !!

Gear ratios with a 19 tooth pinion and stock gears is 7.96, the lowest possible without modifying. With 5.5" tires and a 14000 rpm 102 torque motor would I have a decent amount of speed and torque for bashing ?? I have also found a adjustable motor mount that says it will work down to a 16 tooth pinion ? ANY HELP ??
