Does anyone have any cool racing tips that they
could share with me.
Just started in the hobby and I want to be able to compete with
everyone else.
I have a Savage 25 that I plan on racing with.
Help me out people.

hey, i've seen you before haven't I!
look at the other thread about hop ups first. always be prepared for a race, going into it knowing that everything is working and you have all necessary tools. next, as everybody says, practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice! that is probably the best peice of advice anyone can give you.
now, when you are racing around on the track with the other pros with you on the stand, if they are trying to pass you, got out of their way. they know that you will be slower so let them through! try to avoid all wrecks and crashes by looking where you are going at all times. and I know that you want to go fast and all, but the first few races, just relax and take it easy around the track. let the other guys make the mistakes so that you can pass them while they are in the pits fixing their trucks. i got a new engine last wednesday and took it to the track that weekend, took it nice and easy, and guess what, 1st place.
once you get more experienced with driving, you can go faster and not let those pros get by so easy. next to prep. always remember to charge all glow starters, reciever packs, etc. check transmitter batteries and truck for any loose or broken parts. shine your chromes and polish off the body and you should be a track star in no time!
