Yes they do, the power difference is phenomenal. The only one I've seen in action is the Hacker system. My friend burned up the ESC three times, got his money back and is now waiting for the Novak system which is due to arrive mid-August. Hacker may have improved their system by this time because their airplane systems are first-rate.

I'm waiting, actually have been waiting, for the Novak system since February. Several racers here run the Super Sport brushless and I have yet to see a problem with them. Novak is always solid. I plan on putting their system in a TXT-1 with an E-Maxx tranny.

i have the plettenberg big maxximum and the schulze 18.97kwf and it has more power than i can ever use and i have had no problems with it. i like novak's system out now, but it is a little weak and i hope the emaxx version has some power to it.

Default Emaxx

Has anyone ran an Emaxx with one novak system? Has anyone ever put two novak 5800 systems in an Emaxx. Can you do that? Can you just use a Y connector to plug both speedos into the reciever. I have two 5800 systems to use but dont want to burn them. The problem with just using one system is you can only run 7 cells.

you can only run up to 7 cells with the regular 5800 Novak system. 7 3600 cells would probably last quite a while in it though.

You mean just put 2 mod motors in? The evx speedo wont handle more that 2 540 stockers. You could put in 2 high end speedos and 2 mods.

Yeah, you can put a novak system in there but it can only take up to 7 cells. That woulnt be very fast I dont think. When the high voltage Emaxx novak brushless system comes out you will be able to put up to 14 cells on it i think. But its not out yet.

The new system that is coming out will run for a long time on 3600's. But the system that is out right now (ss5800) would just blow up on 2 6 cell packs.
