Gottcha all I know is that all customer trucks that I assemble and runin get the motors torn down washed and reassembled before starting.

all i do before engine start up for the 1st time is lube it up with after run. but berfore that i take off backplate and spray with wd-40.:nod:

I swear that WD-40 is the magic elixer when it comes to RC eh?

yea it does everything.

i know. what really helps is if you put a tiny spray of wd-40 in between the clutchbell and the spur gear. makes it run a little more smoothly and i think it actually helps to reduce wear a little. :nod:
