TC3Racer: I think that would be a great MT. Get some pics when you're done.

tc3racer: i have a friend who'll convert his mp5 into a monster truck. does he only need to get usa1 wheels and tires and a monster truck body? or are there other stuff like different gearing, shocks, arms, dogbones, etc. needed for the conversion? thanks

marv, look in the september issue of RCCA 01. If you guys dont have it, you need to get thicker shock oil, stiffer springs, 10,000 wieght diff oil for the rear, 7,000 for the front and there is this stuff from OFNA that locks the diff (its really just really thick oil), Stronger steering servo, add some brake pads (2 in front and back should do), you will also need different gearing. the lowest possible is best. it is best to get cvds if possible because the extra stress can pop out the dog bones. Also get sway bars front and rear to keep all the wheels on the ground. If you like I can give you tower hobbies part numbers to convert all of it. Every single part.

My oldest son has one, I am "NOT" Impressed at all.
The truck is unstable, does not run that fast, My clodbuster is faster, handles better, looks more realistic, and jumps better.
All in all I'll take my clod anytime!!
Just my humble opinion...

Your Clod...... is not stock at all.........

A stock E-maxx vs a Stock Clod.......

Like once before the clod comes up the losser............

Loser??? Well the "Stock Clod" is at a disadvantage, No bearings, oil shocks ,etc..
But now My Clod is a different story entirely, it is more equal with a stock E Maxx Or modified Maxx for that matter.
If you want lets do a thrash test with both and see who comes up the loser!!! bet it will be your E Maxx!!
Besides didn't we do the same with the USA 1 electric and it was the ultimate loser then too, the CLOD was Victorious then and will be this time too!!!!

a fully modded clod and a fully modded maxx. The maxx would blow the clod away. I can can think of a specific one that would kill any clod. MonsterMaxx's maxx. can drag around a clod like a cheap play toy and can out jump, out perform, out accelrate, have a higher top speed and climb better. Is there anything that I am missing?

Let's set up a run....I'll run my E-Maxx and you can run your Clod. We can have a friendly 'truck-challenge'. Set up a track, obstacle course, jumps, scale 1/4 mile...whatever....just for fun...

And no hard feelings after...

I'm in!!!!!

Missing my maxx. hardly. It was cool and all but too much money to maintain. To make it to what i really wanted i would have to invest like 3 grand. no thanks. So im gettinga mp6 for the emaxx. Its close to what i want so i dont have to spend a hole lot of money on it to do what i want with it. RACE IT!!
