Anyone. Use the imex truck pull tires?

mugen69 11-29-2010 11:03 AM

Alot of guys in our club use Imex Puller tires. They have also been using the new rc4wd Rumble Monster Truck tires.

R they as good as the stock Juggernaut. Tires

mugen69 11-30-2010 02:58 PM

I think they are better. The rubber is softer and they are a little wider.

ta05man 12-01-2010 12:32 PM

mugen69 very true but they also turn alot better then the juggernuat tires without loosing grip

MADMAN23 12-02-2010 04:50 PM

That's the tires I want to get... because. The stock jugg tires are a lot more $$$

i just put a set of the 80mm yeah's on my terminator, they are a bit short.
i think 90-100mm is optimal.

they seem to work fine though but due to the 80mm i can't go any higher if i wanted to and i'm limited to the lowest hole on the chassis.

Not too sure on the mm-inch conversion and dont really feel like searching for it at the moment but the premium shock length for a clodbuster is 3.75-4.25in

It gives you plenty of extra shock for droop and lots of oil to keep the truck super plush. You'll find that depending on the geometry and shock length you can run softer setups with longer shocks which allows you to set the ride height lower and get a really forgiving truck that will be alot more stable.

A shorter shock like say 3.5in will work okay but you really have to get the geometry and setup correct or it will be hard to get the truck to handle.

just my 2c

90mm = 3.5 inches
100mm is just shy of 4 inches
