HELP! MMGT PROBLEM

so i got a new engine for my mini mgt. the guys on the ae forums said that this motor is a direct fit. here is my problem the shaft is to small

what am i supposed to do

ugh

i don't have a camera atm. the problem is the shaft sticking out of the motor is to short so it can't reach the gears
the motor is a lrp .18
