Default E converted nitro revo tranny problems

i converted my revo to electric using the tekno kit ezrun 80A system,2300kv motor, and turnegy 20C 5000mah 4s lipo. first run with the slipper to tight, and punch control kinda high, stripped the top shaft gear. replaced it, loosened the slipper.

then today, slipper loose enough to keep the front wheels down, lifting em sometimes, punch control turned down some, slipper plate is hot enough to burn you so i know its loose
striped the top shaft gear again. took the truck in the house, tore it down right then and everything in the tranny was warm. could this top shaft gear have got hot enough to from the slipper slipping so much to soften up and strip?

should i swap the aluminum clutch shoes in the electriclutch with stock shoes?
i set the punch control as low as it will go but it started rainning so i couldnt run anymore

the new tranny fits all the trucks for the electrics, it is brushless ready with all metal gears and three pad slipper. i'm betting that it would fit your revo chassis but never had one side by side.
my new e-maxx and summit have the same tranny housing.
i put two 775 motors on my summit and never had trouble with tranny gears.
