Default MGT pull start problem

I went to start my truck yesterday and as I pulled the cord it snapped at the handle and sounded like metal breaking, I opened it up and the metal coil inside had snapped and uncoiled.
Should I buy a new coil at the cost of $10 and new cord for $1.50 both delivered at the cost of $3 (total of $14.50) or buy a new one for $30 delivered or get a different one that is more rugged?
Thanks in advance

Default pullstart

My advice is get a new more rugged one. Fixing different parts one old ones, can be frustrating and take a bit of time. Then they don't last long after being fixed.
