Post Venom Mini Giant Aftermarket Gear

Venom Mini Giant Aftermarket Gear
From: www.RCXOTIC.com

Are you looking to customize & modify your Venom Mini Giant? Venom’s new line of aftermarket parts has you covered. They’re released: Metal shielded ball bearing set, chrome damper set, chrome wheel set, color damper spring set, wheelie bar, 370 Fireball modified motor, unpainted body & HEX-7 1100 mAh NiMH battery pack. Let’s see how each one of these modifications affects the truck.

Metal Shielded Ball Bearing Set: This set includes 22 metal-shielded ball bearings that replace all the plastic bushing on the entire truck. This is one of the best all around hop-ups you can get. It increases run times, top-speed, acceleration & overall handling of the truck. This takes about 30min to install.

Color Damper Spring Set: Running on rough terrain, stock springs too stiff for you? Than this is what you need! This set includes three optional weight springs that can alter the suspension of the truck. Blue, orange & yellow springs are included & can be changed to match the paintjob of your truck. All this takes about 5min to install.

Wheelie Bar: This is a must for even the stock truck since it has such a powerful motor. Not only will it allow to do stabilized wheelies, but it also saves your body from being scratched every time you hit the throttle. This takes about 5min to install.

Unpainted Body: Trying to make your truck stand out from the crowd? There’s no better way to do that than with a custom painted body. The body comes with a clear over spray film & a detail decal sheet. Takes about 30min to paint & trim body.

HEX-7 1100 mAh NiMH Battery Pack: Looking for more power, longer run times & not having to buy anymore AA batteries? Then you need this! The HEX-7 battery pack is basically an 1100 mAh battery pack, but is custom shaped to fit perfectly in the Mini Giant. This should be your first hop-up. Just open the package and put it in the truck and you’re ready to go!

More parts are expected to be released from Venom Racing soon. Including a finned motor heatsink, other body styles, chrome rims, chrom shocks & oil filled coil over shocks. All these hop-up will make your truck look better, run faster & handle much better. Be sure to check back for more updates.

Does anyone else have one of these, or just me?

So how do you like yours? Pro's and con's? I've been thinking about getting one. I have a mini-z Overland, which is fine indoors, but I may want to venture outside sometime this year.

I love mine... Havent really found any major problems with it. Venom's has been and keeps releasing good hop-ups for it. Plus all the Mini-T motors & escs & stuff fit on it.

I wish I could buy another one, or a Mini-T rolling chassis.

Thumbs up Mod VMG

I got my Venom Mini Giant at the RCX. I also picked up ball bearing set and wheelie bar. I put 8 2/3A cells in the little truck, and used the Speed 300 motor. Futaba MC230CR ESC to handle the power. Wheelie on demand, no need to go in reverse first. But The motor gets really hot with 15T pinion. I guess I need to gear down. Pictures will be posted soon.

Steel 11 teeth pinion.
8 cells of 2/3A size NiMH 1100mah battery.
Futaba MC230CR ESC.
Hitec 81MG steering servo.
HPI Dual Link Tie-Rod Set for Micro RS4.
Homemade steering servo plate mounted on top of the front gearbox.
Airtronic micro FM receiver.

This little truck is pretty fast.....

Looks nice. How is the 81MG doing at turning the big tires?
