Default warhead evo engine swap

hey guys i have a warhead evo that ive had for about 6 months now... i got it really cheap from a friend and i figured id mess around with it... i know alot of people think they are total junk and to not even mess with it but ive had pretty good luck with it.. only problems ive had is that it doesnt hold a tune very well and i ran it into a sucker rod fence and broke a shock tower.... im looking to swap the motor to mayb an axial .28 or something about the same size... what do you all reccomend? i also have a tmaxx 3.3 and a nitro sport that i mess around with. my maxx is definitely my favorite but my buddy has a savage 25 and i wanna racing him with my warhead... thanks

The Axial 28 runs well. Get a different exhaust though if you want anything resembling horsepower. The stock pipe is a joke.

Also, buy transmission gears.

The HPI Savage SS polished pipe seems to work really well. They weren't too bad on $$ last I checked either.

He's not talking about putting the engine in a tmaxx. He putting the engine/pipe on the warhead. (I think) if I'm wrong sorry lol
