Default diff lockers

i have a savage 25 stock diffs aluminum arms, shock towers, tmaxx 2.5 tires and an STS .28 and i was browsing ebay and found a diff locker that will fit my truck... so my question is, is the locker worth it?? i dont race, just bash around at local gravel pits and in the yard so there will be no pavement running.. do some hill climbing too.. its only 23 bucks US and 12.85 for shipping to BC as its in the states.. thanks for the input.

here's a pic of the truck it would be going in. oh and it would be going in the rear end too.

Maybe, it might get you in trouble when bashing. If you spin out and go backwards it will lock and that could break something

Locker will be fine as long as you're on loose stuff, but it will not like running on grass. You will be dragging a wheel everytime you turn when you have good traction which is what grass provides.

I'd just fill diffs with a good 10K silicone diff oil and start from there. I bashed an older 4.6SS on 10k and that was a notable improvement over using grease - gave lot better diff action, nearly stopped any unloading.
