Are revo's good trucks and is the stock engine reliable and easy to tune?

Yes and yes. The revo is the best mix of racing and bashing on the market (i think). The 3.3 is a powerful engine that can be tuned very easy and last long. On top of that you can get the traxxas lifetime engine replacement plan.

like snowboard said, the revo 3.3 engine is VERY easy to tune! and is a great truck!
