LST shocks on an E-Maxx

Anyone done this, or are they too big/too much travel?

The lst shocks are about 2" longer than the e-maxx shocks fully extended (4" vs 6"). Also the springs are about 1/4" to big in dia. to fit through the openings in the e-maxx arms.
