How'd the Mamba Max hold up? I'm pretty impressed you got it to push the LST without thermal issues.

My E Maxx is a BeAsT! No toy
Thing is fast, tuff as they come and she isnt bad lookin either
Shure..It took a BL system, RPM everything, new shock springs and some lipos, but shes a MT

Stripped and waiting on the brushless conversion. I'm going to put in a 2200 kV Castle system I have sitting around. From what I found out, the conversion's gearing is at 25/63, and that was with a 1700 kV Xcelorin motor. Is anyone using a higher kV motor? I'm thinking 22/63 should keep the 2200 kV's temperature down and still have enough speed.

I'm running a 2200kv motor with 24/63 and stock XXL transmission. Temperature is fine(motor and ESC around 50c).

Thank you for the feedback.

An update in my conversion progress: I have everything in, and the truck currently sits at 90% complete. I went with the Losi conversion kit, and while I like the battery/ESC tray, I dispise the motor mount and will end up getting a new one from RC-Monster. Losi's mount solely caters to the Exceleron motors, and it virtually has zero motor positioning adjustment. The limited mount travel does not allow me to use my 22T pinion gear because I can't move the motor far enough to reach the spur gear.
