I'll be doing the same too - stock titans from the E-revo will go in the Emaxx, and the BK esc w/Feigao 9xL into the E-Revo. Going to sell my 8th buggy and gear for the lipo packs. Will these (http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-6000-74-Pack.htm
fit in the E-Revo compartments?

Yep they fit, I'm running a pair of them in my E with a Novak HV 6.5 system and it screams.

i have heard some good things about zippy lipos. hobbycity sells them.they are reasonablely priced and have good "c" ratings.hobbycity ships out of china with most of there stuff it seems.i havent tried any,but they have a wide selection and have user reveiws on the product page.i think im gonna go for some of the 4300's,around 40 a pack(2s).

looks like we got a pretty decent mix of racers with some different brushless set-ups.i am looking forward to some good reading...

Guys are posting favorable results and getting good performance using Zippy lipos over on RC Monster. Short of the enerland based lipos, these seem to be a good deal. They are apparently reasonably rated and can deliver and the price makes them a pretty good deal.

Any of you guys successfully ran a bl motor without a fan as well as one for the esc? I don't see any fans that fit my BK esc. Also, I plan to pick up the Thunder Power Balance, but it says it only does 2-5 cells in series. So then it won't work with the 6000HV 2s2p?

without going too much off topic, i ran a quark 125m with a neu motor(1515) only got 8 1/2 minutes of run time with 4200 nimh's in a truggy.no fans required at all.my buddy ran the mm with a neu in his losi buggy,he used some fans from radioshack, not pretty but durable, and a little big.i am gonna try mine without fans.i only race,no bash.i did some speed runs with a mm with the 6900 motor in a t4 geared as high as i could, which was ridiculously high, also with nimh's,and it never thermalled.got it to 55 mph(with lower gearing actually).it did melt the solder off of the motor connectors though.

btw the 9xl fits perfect with the rc monster heatsink.gonna start with an 18 tooth.

That would be 2 cells in series, unless I'm not understanding the question. So yes it should work.

I don't kid around if I want to buy something. My 3rd owned Traxxas vehicle... The E-REVO. It awaits the transfer of the BL system from the Emaxx.

^^There sure is a size difference.

From those websites think they are good quality compared to higher priced lipos like from MaxAmps?

on the thread in electric onroad,a guy did some independent testing on some different lipos.everything he said made sense, and backs up some things ive heard and seen about them.i m not here to bash anybody, but those yeah racing cells look like a good deal.i am gonna order some.they are a little low in capacity but that will be ok for me.i havent heard squat about the elite cells from cbp,so i wanted to try some. i will be sticking with 2s2p cell configurations to allow me more flexibility in what other cars i could use them in.i was excited about the e revo because they battery layout ,among other things.i never liked the idea of one big brick .if you could get the brick dead center, then id change my mind.enough rambling...

The prices seem good too actually. Do they configure the tap connectors for you or do you need to buy an adapter? I plan on going with the Thunder Power balancer.

Hmm the price seems right, but just some info as far as what taps I have available that can work with my balancer would be useful. Man this truck has a really nice low CG! With the factory gear removed and fitted with the BK esc and Feigao 9XL the chassis looks really clean and simple. I can't wait for the lipo batts to get in so I can test drive this. Also, it will be raced if the next super series event August 17th at my local track.
