go for a feigao 8l, mamba max, and twin 2s lipo or twin 7 cell batts. it will rip after that. or you could get the vxl motor and a mamba max and run it on twin packs. either way it will be amazingly fast. and i mean crazy. standing backflips with ease... my maxx on 3s and a vxl system(older model) can do standing backflips and tops out about 40 mph. rolling wheelies at almost any speed. the 8l would be similar performance for a little less. but you could want to get a bolt on heatsink(run you about $30 or so) so in the end they will cost about the same. 8l = little more torque, little less top. vxl = less torque, more top)

160 degrees on the ESC isn't "relatively cool" man, you're borderlining that speed control into thermaling.
