Actually, you are better to put a buggy tank on the side where the receiver box is now. It will mount at an angle with the narrow end sitting where the throttle servo used to be. Move the throttle servo to where the stock fuel tank used to be. Dump the rec battery box and strap a flat receiver pack to the chassis there. Mount the receiver where the reverse servo used to be, or get an RPM receiver box for the AE GT and strap it on top of the rec pack. If you do this, make sure to put some padding between the rec pack and the rec box. There are actually several places you can mount a receiver in this configuration depending on how big your receiver is. Just get the tank throttle servo and rec pack mounted, then set the receiver where it will fit best. If you pad it, you can mount the rec pack under the chassis on the left side and put the receiver on top of the chassis. For racing this setup works fine, but make sure to protect your rec pack with padding. When I was doing this I also put a piece of scrap lexan under the rec pack to give it a little more protection.
