I have a Traxxas Tmaxx 2.5 and i am wanting to sell the orginal radio and buy a different radio.

Sense the 2.5 has the button were you shift down to go forward and shift up to go in reverse if i buy a different radio how would i go in reverse?Would i need to take out the Reverse?Do i have to take out Reverse?

I know the Spektrum DX3.0 has a third channel that you can use for reverse but not sure of what other ones are out there.

as long as the radio has three channels not 2 you will be fine...

Be sure to check out where the third channel button is located. The TQ radio has about the easiest to use location. some other radios have the third channel button located in a difficult location. Just something to watch for.
