for some reason the steel gears have been made a hop up for the 5.2
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=53950
the stock tnx diffs are weak, like all trucks, buggies etc you will always find a weak spot, the tnx just has weak diffs.

but u can clearly see there is the zerol diff link here:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=53950
and the tnx 3.0 diff link here:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...uct-id=9404453
DIFFERENT PARTS.....thats the reason why the tnx 3.0 diffs r stronger, more like the zerol diffs.

same, but different
i realise they have different part numbers, what i was trying to get at is,the zerol and 3.0 ring and pinion look the same,so they could have actually just packaged old 3.0 diffs as the new zerol hop up option, add a new part number and a bit of price etc and make a few extra bucks off old parts .
how do the 3.0 diffs hold up to the .32 engine?

the 3.0 diffs arent slipping yet and arent grindy yet either, but they havent had much use yet really after the clutch bell came loose and became disintegrated into the spur which is totally screwed and my slipper clutch metal holder things are wafer thin because almost all the metal got ground away and my rear drive shaft fell out and is missing.
oh well
oh well
