Yes, that should work fine. Sounds like a battery issue.

What charger do you have for the EZ start battery? If it isn't a cheapie, it may be able to charge the hump pack with an adapter.

1: Look into a charger that does both

2: Invest in better batteries for the truck and or radio. If you go this route, might as well get for both.

3: Live with it for now.

Charger is just a cheap-o for the 7.2 battery pack 2-3 hour DC output 9v 700MA. If that would work I can make the adapter for it no problem. The hump pack battery is just 1400ma though. I did take some stuff apart and find a few things that could be improved on. The front suspension was set on the next to last hole for height. The front drive shafts were hitting and rubbing on the arms. I moved them down one and replaced a few small things that I already had. The spur gear needs to be replaced next. (spur gear or fly wheel same thing?) I don't feel great in my abilities to try that one yet. Any way here is a pick of what it looks like now. I might lower the back part of the body or raise the front part not sure I like the angled look that it has right now.

Thanks again

The flywheel turns with the engine, the clutch is bolted to it, the pinion gears are on the clutch (simple way to put it) and the spur gears are connected to the drivetrain on the truck

Does anyone know the default HSN, LSN and Idle screw settings for the TRX 2.5 I seem to be having trouble getting it running good. The idle speed is iratic and the truck is jerky. Any suggestions on that one?

Thanks again

Well I think I might take my used truck back to the store. I can't seem to get it running well. The store told me that I had 30 days, and if I wasn't happy I could apply what I paid for that one to a new RC. They had t-maxx 2.5r what should I get? If I wanted to do racing what should I go with? I think they had a revo but I don't know how much it was. Any thoughts on what I should replace it with?
