How fast do they wear? I have a set of BowTie MTRs that are basically worn out after about 6 tanks on a dry packed track. How do they hook up compared to BowTies?

You should get some clay compound tires for that type of track.. I wear out a set of tires in one race on those types of tracks. I raced on a track like that recently and the Gatorz were not the ticket, I took them off after the first qual and proceeded to wear out a set of Crimefighters. My local track is not so brutal on tires so the Gatorz will hold up for 3 race days at least.

I have a couple of sets of Pythons on narrowed 40series wheels. One set is Medium compound and they seem to last forever. The other set is Clay compound, but I have not run them yet. I'm waiting on a set of Ofna Yellow molded foams for them. They should be here tomorrow so i can try them out this weekend. I am just looking for an alternative MT size tire. I found Gators online for about $44/4 so I might give em a try. During normal racing they keep the track watered fairly well so it isnt nearly as hard and dry as it was when I burned up the BowTies.
