Default Mess load of MT questions I need answered!

ok please bear with me and try to help as much as you can, I have a mess load of questions that i need to have answered.

I own a Revo 2.5R with a .18TM for anyone who's wondering.

1) Are 23mm hexes worth it? what do they help out on?

2) http://cgi.ebay.com/Monster-Truck-X-...QQcmdZViewItem , http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...53107050677.e3 (integy's link) anyone ever use these tires? and if so how are they? how do they handle and how hard or soft are they?

3) if you have no answer to #2 please answer this if you can, between the bow-ties 40 series, and the crime fighter 40 series, which tires would so best in a mostly packed watered track? both tires M2 compound.

4) for anyone who has a crowd pleazer body, should I get a wing and mount for the revo, or does the big plastic wing on the crowd pleazer 2.0 help out plenty?

5) anyone use the integy or trinity springs Integy Springs trinity springs for the revo's shocks? if so which colors match up the best to traxxass' gold and green spring? traxxas uses progessive rates and integy/ trinity uses pounds and only states colors so im lost there. if not I will just buy the green and gold springs by traxxas.

everything else I already have straightened out, I have let my revo sit for the past few months and I wanan get it back on the track and ready for r/c maddness in wolcott this summer

23mm are better than the stock 14mm but the 17mm wheels are in my opinion the better option. I kept breaking drive pins with the 23mm. If you ever get a truggy or know truggy guys that will let you try their wheels then they will bolt right on. Maximizer makes 17mm hexes that bolt on like the stock 14mm. They are 4 bucks. Nice price.
Those h patterns or pretty much bowties. If you can get in good with someone that has a few different types of tires maybe they'll let you try them to see what each might be like.
That wing on the CrowdPleaser is shorlived in a tumble and I don't think it does too much. The Teckno wing works well.

Remember this is my opinion.

1. yes, strength
3. both are good
4. get the wing mount by teckno
5. I would use the traxxas revo springs because i have the trinity and integy springs and i think both suck, but that's my opinion.

Pythons on Wabash are about the most dialed tire for the Revo, 23's are great, but the 17's might be a better option if you are going to start fresh with either. Tekno Wing mount with any wing is great, well worth the money over trying to make/mod your own. The Crowd Pleazer wing will do nothing when you are on your lid, the 1/8 wing on the Tekno mount will provide much better protection.

I'd recommend:

Panther Pythons on narrowed wabash wheels

23mm

techno wing mount

stick with traxxas springs..

For racing you should get:
Maximizer 17mm adapters/plastic ones flex and dont break axles

Tekno Wing Mount is the bomb diggity for sure

The New Panther Gators on 17mm Maximizer wide offsets work well for racing

Starter Box, OS TZ or 3.3 motor

Jd Carbon Pushrods and links are sweet

I forgot to mention that you had to narrow the wabash for the pythons. Holeshots on 1/2 offset rock as well, with the molded foams...
