Default CAN SOMEONE IDENTIFY THIS ??

I BOUGHT THIS OFF A FRIEND AND HIS UNDERSTANDING IS THAT IS WAS CLODZILLA. AFTER TAKING IT TO MY LOCAL TRACK A FORMER OFF ROAD RACER SAID IT LOOKED MORE LIKE A CUSTOM OR HOMEMADE CHASSIS BUT HE WASN'T SURE EITHER.

I AM GOING TO POST IT ON HERE TOMORROW FOR SALE AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I HAVE. CUSTOM/HOMEMADE, CLODZILLA, ? ? ? ? ?

I AM ALSO GROUPING IT WITH AN ORIGINAL CLODBUSTER, AND A FULL RACE CLODZILLA .

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

Resembles a Clodzilla but looks more homemade than something made by www.esphobby.com . Try the website, just click the link I've given you and search their site. Good luck.

Looks like a custom/homeade jobber to me, looks like it was well done though.

I don't believe it is a homemade job. If it is, it's a copy of the Clodzilla. Years ago when the Clod came out, there were lots of companies that were making all sorts of racing and sport chassis. I've seen that version or similar, many times.

http://www.esphobby.com/prod01.htm

That's just one example if you do a google searh for Clodzilla/II/Sport.

THAT LOOKS REAL CLOSE RAY

AFTER LOOKING IT OVER I THINK IT'S A MIX BREED , HAHAHA !!

SOME PARTS LOOK FACTORY CRAFTED AND SOME LOOK CUSTOM MADE.

THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS A LITTLE LONGER FROM MOUNT TO MOUNT THAN WHAT THE 1st ESP CHASSIS' LOOK LIKE.

I KNOW IT HAS DECENT TRAVEL. THE BOX THAT IT'S SITTING ON IS 8" TALL AND THE OTHER 3 TIRES ARE ON THE WORK BENCH . BUT OF COURSE THE TIRE IS FLAT SQUISHED TO THE BOX.

I GUESS I WILL LIST IT AS AN OLDER CLODZILLA CHASSIS BUT NOT 100%. IT NEEDS A REBUILD AND IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD MONSTER TRUCK OR OLD SCHOOL LOOKING CRAWLER I GUESS. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM.

WATCH FOR IT IN THE FOR SALE AREA REAL SOON

AND THANKS GUYS FOR THE HELP.

After I posted that, I did some more searching and there was many variations. Some had cantilever shocks, some with 4 shocks, some 8. All similar design. In fact you can still buy the Clodzilla II Racing kit from Tower. I was suprised.

Someone may have made some mods to it, but I think you'd be safe listing it as a Clodzilla.

Glad to help.
