the one thing i am havin the most trouble with is keeping it runnin it takes me about an hour to get it running for about 5 mins of (play time) . then i will lose the four wheel drive on one run and the next i will have the four wheel back . Those are the two most bothering things that are going wrong

Hey I have a megaforce too. I am quite new to this hobby, but are you having trouble starting or it just dies halfway when you are running it.
I have some questions. How is the engine working for you. For me for such a big and heavy truck it's putting out too little power...and it only has a single needle setting. Are you feeling the same?

I never had much trouble with my GS15 engine. Maybe you should set the mixture needle to the factory break-in setting. Check your fuel line is not pinched or has a cut or pinhole. Check your muffler presure line for the same.
Set your radio throttle trim to "0" or neutral, and then looking at your trucks radio and linkage, double check that the throttle and trans linkage are not trying to engage a gear when the radio transmitter is in the neutral postion. Otherwise that can be putting an excessive load on the engine when it's trying to idle.
Also, during break-in glow plugs will foul easily and cause all sorts of running/idling problems. Be sure your fuel is fresh, and you have a 100% known good glow plug.
Don't give up on the Mega Force! It is an awesome truck and when you get it running reliably you are really going to enjoy it!

Actually the power seems pretty decent to me. Only a single speed and I guess it does the rated 20mph. I sure would love to have a 2-speed.
My needle is just slightly less than 1 turn open. More like 15/16th's open.
I have also converted mine to full brakes as well as fwd/rev:

Wow, that is soooo nice!
What about torque/acceleration.......mine seems to like to get up to a little speed before it will actually climb a slope(not extremem steep). I run close to what you run. Any idea about the engine specs. Have you broken anything yet/durability. Thank you.

I have broken stuff on two occasions. 1st time I smacked a wall and broke a steering hub.
2nd time I ran full speed into a parking lot light standard concrete base. Broke a lot of front end stuff.
I have never broken anything by just running it and jumping it.
Mine will climb hills really well, don't need a running start.
What fuel and glow plug are you using?

Just a suggestion here. Send the engine back to Hobby Services. Maybe they will warranty it and either replace it or repair it. It's worth a try. I have had super service from them in the past with other models and problems. Hobby Services people are top notch!
