If the action is intermittent, then read my first post in this thread and try that. Inspect/Clean/Lube your OWB

Yep that nut will strip AE put's thier name on a pack of good ones.

Id like to thank you for having posted the OWB problem regarding the LST. Like the guy that you been advising i followed your tips in cleaning the owb and lubing it with serpent oil and this really solved the problem of my LST2. Again thanks a lot its been a really VERY VERY BIG HELP.

You are lucky. Mine is still not working. I cleaned and lubed the OWB and it did not work. I am in the processing or replacing the entire slipper clutch and spur gear assembly. I think the lock nut is warped so I hope this works for me. It is really not intemitant. just after everything is cooled and Ithink the lock nut is tightened it will sluggishly move for about 25 feet or so and then it it screams and does not move. I will let you know after I recieve all the parts and I work on it

before i had this owb problem it was my dogbone cv, it kept sprungingn out so what i did was had the machine shop build me a longer one then this owb came it really gave me a lot of head aches and sleepless nights 4nights to be exact then i read 2dmaxlst thread and just tried it. hope its just the nut thats been causing problems with your truck, i replaced mine with mugen seki.

I did a lot of trial and error before I figured it out...


I use a couple drops of this every once in a while..
