Well I want to get an E-Maxx to race and I want to put my Mamba Max 5700 in it. I think it will be fast enough but Im not sure. With the stock settings, and not so new 3300 my grAPHITE xxx-t can easily flip when pinned when it catches a little traction. I would probably run dual 3300's or maybe a LiPo, so that should make up for the weight in my opinion, an extra battery. So I guess I am concerned it wont be as crazy and fun to drive, strictly because of the added weight, I know a monster truck is completely different handling wise I am talking pure speed and acceleration. What do you think?

well that kind of sucks because I JUST bought the mamba max. I don't really want my truck to do that, I am wondering how the mamba max will compare to the Novak e maxx system, because if it is like that, than thats all I need. I want power, but controllable power. I will be racing it probably with the nitro MT's so I am wondering If I could keep up with nitros running the mamba max and a 3s LiPO?

im pretty sure the novak system is nice. i dont have any experience with it. keep the 5700 in your xxx-t and get monster truck system for an emaxx. dont put a race truck motor in such a big truck. it wont be competitive with that. the novak 7.5 or 6.5, whichever one it is i dont remember, is supposed to be nice. but i cant garuntee anything.

Im selling my XXX T to fund the EMAXX im trying not to blow money on this hobby anymore, just move it around. Maybe I should just get a buggy...i dont even know anymore. how much do you think the mamba max would sell for on ebay?slightly used with some usage scratches on the end of the motor. OR should I sell it with my xxxt I am including lots of stuff like 28 tires, 10 motors, you get the picture so there is already a lot of money into the auction, do you think I would get a sufficient amount more if I included the mamba max, or should I sell it seperate? If I sell seperate I could test it in the e maxx, or just get the maxx first, test the mamba max, then sell if it isn't good. hmmm what do you think I should do

man you just named so many choices that i dont even know what to pick. you could try putting it into an emaxx. im nto sure how goo d it would do but is worth a shot. personally i would rather get a buggy and put the motor in that. get a 4wd racing buggy. those are sick. like the yokomo or lazer or something.

yeah, but the buggy I would want, you cant get parts for at my LHS, and thats a big part of the next vehicle I buy, and emaxx you can get almost anything at almost any hobby shop, and my LHS is real tight on parts as it is, even for emaxx's and other traxxas cars. also, a buggy is smaller than my xxxt, and I want something bigger, like a big racing beast that just tears things up. IDK it would be the most economical to just get a buggy kit. I guess I will have to make my decision.

I run my emaxx with the stock motors and 2 7 cell 3800 mah packs and I run up front with the nitro stock monster trucks at my local track. The stock motors have plenty of power especially with the 2 3800 packs.

actually you would probl;y spend just as much or more on a buggy. and if you want a real electric beast, get a revo roller. you know just diffs, axles, arms and such. then put the geurillamaxx kit on it. those thigns are insane. i knoiw a guy that runs his in mod nitro monster and can beat alot of lst's and revos. they are pretty sick. and i think a little more adjustable. but the price is higher.

how did that mamba do in your losi? was it driveable at low speeds? im thinking bout putting one in my race truck, but i dont want something thats all race and no play. i want to be able to play around in the street and yard too. is it for me? or is the novak 6.5 a better choice?
