Custom project
ok guys heres the thing, im not going to be able to work for a little whil longer so i thought i would start a little project.
i have a tl01 which im willing to experiment with!!
i would like a nice off roader / monster truck.
now i know this car can be the stadium truck but i want bigger, i.e. large wheels like the mad bull uses (that size ish....)
i am not sure wether to go 2wd to save on maintanance but also for another reason.
im looking to make the front articulate ie spin which would require splitin the chassis in 2 then using a pivot to let the front wheels rotate more (as the suspension will allow very little movement).
i have a small pic to show what i mean
any ideas would be great, if you could tell me which wheels fit the car then let me know.
also any links to similar custom projects would be nice.
last but no least, shocks, could i use larger shocks allowing more susspension movement ?? and how much bigger than the socks could these be without need to alter the dive shafts??

the only real problem with those cars is that they have very limited gearing...now i hear that you can use the thundertech clod adjustable motor mounts to gear down to a 16 but you'd need a torquey motor to pull the big tires...other than that you're pretty limited i am trying it myself though so we'll see
