Hey all, I just purchased this truck to use for parts:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...DME:L:RTQ:US:1

The seller says the shocks are savage ss, but looking through HPI's site I dont' see any that look like what is in the picture. Can anyone guess what shocks these are? They look like some ofna threaded ones.

Thanks. I think the guy got confused on the shocks as he had another listed with what he said there.

I agree they look like ofna shocks as they don't look like my GS shocks.

They look like LOSI bottom load shocks to me. Just like the ones on my JRX2 Pro and JRX-T that I restored this year. The shock bodies and top cap are one piece aluminum. LOSI had been using this design for 20 years. The springs are beefier though, probably buggy springs.

My $.02
