I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT CLUTCHEs, are the alloy ones that come with the lst2 the best? cause i pulled mine apart to check it out and put the ti nitride gear set on but also found out that the clutch bell is not threaded, bummer and also the clutch and bearings were shot, so before i buy new ones. what is the best..

No. the only servo saver is mounted on the servo. If you put all the stress on a single servo and saver, there is not a servo saver made that can handle the load.
Try taking off a servo horn off and drive the truck and see how much tension one can take before the saver kicks in and is overworked.
I broke a servo arm on my saver during a race and had alot of trouble turning left. The remaining saver could not turn the wheels with unloading. A couple of laps I almost went off the track at the end of the straight because the wheels would not turn, going to fast.
A couple of guys at lstforums have tried every which way to accomplish this and could not make it work. It just comes down to servo mounted savers are not strong enough to do the job.

Thanks a lot for the info. I checked out the lstforum and it was very helpful. I guess my only concern was if I wanted a high end servo for steering it is kinda of a waste.
From what Ive read the 2-590s or 2-650s will do the job just fine is that correct?

You can keep the 590's in there with no problem. For the price of the 650's, they are almost double the torque of the 590's for only about $10 more.
I ended up buying two 650's and using the 590's for throttle/brake and spare.

Save your money, the extra $60 you can save with the 650's will allow you to get more hop ups. Check this out
