Default Versatility - Bash and Race

There is always a possibility I would race the truck; however, I do not know if I want to go MT or Trug.

Monster:

TNX - lowest price, light weight; however, the 5.2R is going to release
LST2 - great package, pricey

Trug:
CRT RTR - newest of all
LSP RTR - lower price

RTR is the way to go for me right now, no kits, these are just for fun right now. The TNX is hard to beat.

lst2.....great basher (ithink) and good racer (ithink too lol)

IMO the new savage X is good for racing....i would consider that too and in bashing the savage trucks are like a tank......indestructable

Actually the Kyosho SR-T is way newer than the CRT. The CRT RTR or the ST-1 (thunder TIger) RTR are good options, as well as the LSP RTR, depends ont eh track. YOu can do everything with these that you can with the monster trucks, and faster, but you do lose a little height. I would look at several things before you decide, check parts availability,, support at races, and what your buddies are running, price, watch at teh tracks to see what is durable, this is KEY.

If your going to go with a MT, get the MGT. Best MT for bashing and racing for the price. Next would be the LST2.

Almost any of the new truggies will do the trick,CRT,ST-1,ST-R(not a RTR), Iwould shy away from the LSP, it takes some aftermarket bits to keep it running right w/o breaking.

I would also look at the TNX, they are decent except for the spur and axles.

I have been using a Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium Pro truggy for racing and bashing. It comes with CNC aluminum a-arms and is extremely durable. It's worth a look.
