Default Traxxas Sledge

New truck from the Evil Empire?
1/8 truggy chassis, alloy towers, center brace bar, 6s (2x3s), 2000KV, etc. This actually looks kind of fun to tinker with, provided it isn't $800+

Knowing Traxxas, it will be $800+, guaranteed.

I agree traxxas is an evil empire but you can’t deny their quality has improved since the release of the Xmaxx , the maxx is a great basher the Erevo finally has what it should have had for years beefy diffs! I was all about the losi lst line but parts support sucks now . Traxxas will have parts support for years to come . At least the Kraton will have a true head to head competitor .

That's pretty steep for a truck with fixed upper links. I guess this is the new price adjustment for today's market.

For $200 more than the Arrma 6s line? Seems like this is for hardcore loyalists.

Default It can win races

. I watched MSM video. Looks pretty sweet. Bet it could win some 1/8 truggy races.

$800!! 😳😳😳 That’s not worth $200 more than a Kraton.

I admit, the thought of proper electronics and a set of real Truggy tires mounted to this crossed my mind soon after I saw it.

Losi LST parts prices have gone bonkers and can’t find major stuff anymore. Just saw a forward only conversion on eBay for 100$ And 250$ for an Rd logics gas tank lmao. Glad I got mine, and parts, awhile back before the insanity ensued. Still see cheapish rollers all the time on the Bay but they are in rubbish condition. Guess I’ll run mine a few times a year and just enjoy it sparingly.

Haven't had a chance to look at the specs but I wonder if it is the same length as a Kraton or more like the Outcast. The chassis pics make the truck look somewhat short.

Tough price to swallow when the EXB Kraton is mid $400s (without electronics of course).

Edit: looked at specs - it is extremely close to the Kraton in all dimensions, but the weight is a good bit higher - ~12.75 lbs for the Sledge vs ~10.75 lbs for the Kraton.

If you can't compete, just copy
st_dragn_wagen and Jaypopsti like this.

It's funny how Traxxas sues Arrma over the Nero copying the Revo shock set up just so Arrma can't produce the FAR superior Nero platform RCs but,,!!!... now Traxxas turns around and they are replacing the Revo with a Truggy platform RC. I know it's just RCs but...doing some one dirty is what it is. Shady.

Looks pretty cool, but think I'll stick with my Kraton EXB I got on black Friday for $369.

$800?? After the joke that was the hoss, Traxxas must know its fans will buy anything. Traxxas just told all the erevo 2 buyers they were suckers because traxxas obviously realizes it isnt a worthy competitor in this class and had to build something that directly competes against it. Not something you do unless you know your current offering is vastly inferior and can't compete.
